Home sales are moving fast at Towns on First, a brand-new townhome-style community by City Ventures, California’s leading builder of solar-included, ecologically responsible homes. Recently, City Ventures announced that the final phase of homes at Towns on First will be released this weekend on Saturday, November 1, reflecting the strong demand from buyers eager to be part of this highly walkable Downtown Upland neighborhood.

According to Metrolink, average weekday ridership on the San Bernardino rail line—which includes the nearby Upland station—was up 10% on weekdays to nearly 7,000 and up 20% on weekends to nearly 88,000 year-over-year for the three-month period ending in June. It remains the most popular line on the entire Metrolink system.

Interiors at Towns on First offer a blend of designer-inspired selections and functionality that today’s buyers are looking for. Modern, beautifully appointed kitchens showcase tasteful finishes like soft-closing cabinets, quartz or granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances. Inviting great rooms and sun-filled decks are ideal for relaxing and entertaining, and flex spaces allow for additional options like a home office, gym space or play room. Addressing the need for affordable housing, City Ventures worked with the City of Upland in the buyer selection and contracting process for a limited offering of Below Market Rate (BMR) townhomes. The housing market in Upland remains competitive, with Redfin reporting a median sales price of about USD 835,000 in September—over 40% higher than the current starting price at Towns on First. Meanwhile, 29% of homes sold above the list price in September, and there were just 3.4 months of supply at the end of the month, which continues to favor sellers over buyers. Nationally, as more buyers continue to search for matches in the existing home market, the National Association of Realtors showed the median home sales price rising 2.1% year-over-year for the 27th consecutive month in September as sales rose 1.5%. With homes offered by Towns on First priced substantially under the Upland median home price, buyers should take advantage of this final phase while their favorite plans are still available.

Currently, the homes at Towns on First are priced from the mid USD 500,000s. With the final phase of homes underway, City Ventures urges interested buyers to visit the community and tour the two fully furnished model homes before it’s too late.
