Cloaked, the consumer-first privacy and security company, on March 19th announced it has secured $375 million in funding as part of a Series B raise and growth financing through General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund. The Series B round was led by General Catalyst and Liberty City Ventures, with participation from Lux Capital, Human Capital, Marquee Ventures, Fifth Growth Fund, NFL Players Association, LG Technology Ventures, Assurant Ventures, DuckDuckGo, and others. The investment will accelerate Cloaked’s mission to make data privacy the default, not the exception, in our daily lives.

Trusted by more than 350,000 users and growing more than 10x over the past year, Cloaked has built a comprehensive privacy platform that empowers individuals to reclaim control of their personal information—disrupting what the company calls “data parasites” at every point of attack. With this raise, Cloaked will execute against an ambitious product roadmap that harnesses safe AI as a powerful enforcer of data privacy and cybersecurity while expanding its team and scaling internationally across both consumer and enterprise.

“We’ve disguised more than 10 million identities, removed over a billion records from data broker sites, and screened more than 40 million calls – and we’re just getting started,” said Arjun Bhatnagar, co-founder and CEO at Cloaked. “The fight for consumer privacy is at an inflection point with Cloaked building the platform that makes privacy easy to understand, simple to defend, and a mandatory aspect of daily life.”

The raise reflects growing investor conviction that privacy infrastructure will be foundational to the next era of technology and that Cloaked is best positioned to build it.

“Cloaked understands the urgency of this moment and continues to scale, build trust, and redefine the future of privacy through artificial intelligence,” said Mark Crane, Partner at General Catalyst. “Under Arjun and Abhijay’s leadership, the team has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to shape how individuals and organizations confront digital threats and bad actors, which is exactly why we’ve doubled down.”

Cloaked’s comprehensive privacy platform protects users across three core pillars. Its virtual identities generate unlimited unique phone numbers, email addresses, and passwords on demand, proactively shielding personal data before it’s ever exposed. Its data removal feature automatically and continuously eliminates personal information from data brokers and people-search sites, cutting off years of accumulated exposure at the source. And Call Guard, Cloaked’s AI-powered call screening, detects and blocks spam, scam, and fraudulent calls in real time.

Cloaked Enterprise, launched late last year, tackles the biggest blind spot in organizational cybersecurity: the human attack surface. Its Digital Workforce Protection program identifies and prioritizes risks stemming from employees’ personal digital exposure, then deploys the full Cloaked suite to mitigate those risks in one place. This raise will enable the company to significantly scale the enterprise offering, including dedicated sales, integrations, and expand global compliance infrastructure.

“Cloaked is going to continue building what others can’t, innovation that’s pro-consumer, pro-privacy, and long overdue,” said Abhijay Bhatnagar, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. “Too much of the industry treats privacy as an afterthought while racing to ship AI with no guardrails. We’ve assembled some of the sharpest, most relentless minds who are proving that it doesn’t have to be a tradeoff.”

Cloaked plans to introduce a suite of AI-driven personal agents that act on behalf of users to monitor, manage, and enforce their privacy preferences and security posture across their digital footprint. These agents will turn what’s historically been a manual, reactive process into an automated, continuous one.

Beyond its technology, Cloaked is an active advocate for consumer-first privacy legislation and industry reform. Cloaked has partnered with organizations and policymakers to expand public understanding of data risks and raise the bar for how companies handle personal information.

The platform is built on rigorous trust foundations with end-to-end encryption, a zero-knowledge architecture, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications, PCI-DSS compliance, and successful completion of independent, annual SOC 2 Type II audits. These ensure the Cloaked platform meets the highest standards for both consumers and businesses.
