Eastern Bankshares, Inc., the holding company of Eastern Bank, on June 11th, announced that it will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 Index, effective prior to the opening of trading on June 22, 2026. The S&P SmallCap 600 Index is widely regarded as one of the premier benchmarks for small-cap U.S. equities.
