AgCertain Industries, Inc. continues its strategic growth trajectory with significant investments in both production capacity and sustainability infrastructure, marked by the completion of its speciality oil processing expansion and the groundbreaking of a new wastewater treatment and water reuse facility at its Boone campus. Together, these projects represent AgCertain’s ongoing commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and long-term investment in Central Iowa.
The speciality oil processing expansion is now operational, enhancing AgCertain’s ability to process a broad range of speciality, identity-preserved, and high-performance oils for customers across food, nutraceutical, cosmetic, industrial, and bio-based markets. The upgraded facility provides increased production capacity, improved operational efficiency, and greater flexibility to support both pilot-scale development and commercial manufacturing.
This expansion strengthens AgCertain’s capabilities in degumming, bleaching, dewaxing, deodorisation, free-fatty acid removal, and customised speciality oil processing. The facility is designed to accommodate a diverse range of feedstocks while maintaining rigorous standards for quality assurance, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
In addition to expanding processing capabilities, AgCertain recently broke ground on a new wastewater treatment and water reuse facility, a project partially supported through the Iowa Water Infrastructure Fund and the State of Iowa. Once completed, the facility is expected to significantly reduce water consumption, improve operational efficiency, and further strengthen AgCertain’s environmental stewardship efforts. The water reuse project reflects AgCertain’s commitment to sustainable growth by reducing dependence on municipal water resources, lowering transportation requirements associated with wastewater management, and supporting the company’s long-term expansion plans.

“As customer demand continues to grow, we are expanding our capabilities while also building a more sustainable and efficient operation. The combination of increased speciality oil processing capacity and advanced water reuse technology positions AgCertain to serve our customers at a higher level while remaining responsible stewards of our resources,” said Daniel J. Oh, President & CEO of AgCertain Industries, Inc.
AgCertain’s integrated operating model continues to provide customers with comprehensive support from material sourcing and processing through logistics and final delivery. The company’s investments in infrastructure, technology, and sustainability are designed to support continued growth across its speciality food, agricultural, and bio-based product businesses.
The projects also reinforce AgCertain’s commitment to the Boone community and the State of Iowa, creating a strong foundation for future expansion while contributing to regional economic development and resource conservation.
“Central Iowa continues to be an outstanding place to invest and grow,” said Oh. “We are grateful for the support of our employees, customers, partners, and state and local leaders who have helped make these milestones possible. We are excited about the opportunities these investments create for the future.”
