Lenovo, the global technology powerhouse, has appointed Ashley Gorakhpurwalla to lead its Infrastructure Solutions Business. Lenovo, the global technology powerhouse, has recently appointed Ashley Gorakhpurwalla to lead its Infrastructure Solutions Business. He joins Lenovo on November 11 as Executive Vice President of Lenovo and President of the Infrastructure Solutions Group, as well as a member of the Lenovo Executive Committee, the Group’s leadership team.

According to Industry sources, Gorakhpurwalla is widely known in the industry and has powered numerous multi-billion dollar revenue storage and infrastructure systems businesses for top-tier global technology companies. Most notably, he was President and General Manager of Server and Infrastructure Systems at Dell EMC, where he powered a $20 billion business that included the company’s PowerEdge Server, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, and Extreme Scale Infrastructure business units, as well as research and development of its Storage Platform and Data Protection. Under his leadership, the server and storage business grew to become the undisputed number one in the world.
