A new ultra-premium credit card, Primus, has been launched in India, targeting the country’s growing population of ultra-high net worth individuals. The card, offered by Axis Bank in partnership with Visa, provides exclusive benefits and privileges tailored to the elite’s tastes and preferences.
The move comes as India’s economy continues to grow, with a surge in wealth accumulation among the country’s richest individuals. According to reports, India’s ultra-high net worth individuals are expected to rise by over half in the next five years.
The Primus credit card offers curated luxury experiences, including select culinary journeys, custom-made travel itineraries, private jet access, and invitations to exclusive events. Cardholders will also have access to personalized concierge services and luxury rewards.
The launch of Primus marks a new standard in experiential banking for India’s elite, with a focus on exclusivity, style, and access. The card is available by invitation only to select Axis Bank customers.
