PAI Partners (“PAI”), a pre-eminent private equity firm, recently announced the appointment of Winston Song as Partner. Mr. Song will lead PAI’s consumer activities in North America. He is based in New York, and joins as the firm expands its US presence and builds on its history and expertise in the consumer sector.

His presence will also allow us to expand into other consumer categories in the region beyond food and beverage.”
Mr. Song’s career spans nearly two decades. He joins from Vestar Capital Partners, where he was most recently a Managing Director and Co-Head of Consumer. Previously, Mr. Song was at Lehman Brothers and CSFB Private Equity. Throughout his career, Mr. Song has been responsible for the sourcing, closing and managing of investments, primarily in the consumer, food and beverage sectors, and has served as a board member for a number of companies.
He joins a PAI team which has been active in the consumer sector, including completing recent investments in Uvesco, Tropicana Brands Group, European Camping Group, Euro Ethnic Foods, MyFlower | Interflora and the Compleat Food Group in Europe and the US.
