Bespoke Habitat, a property management company, and co-living start-up announced that it has raised its first SGD$1 million in angel investment. The investment will accelerate the company’s vision of creating the future of shared spaces for working professionals and bring modern tech-enabled living solutions to enhance the staying experience.
Launched in 2019, Bespoke Habitat provides livable spaces where people can live, work and play at the most convenient locations spread across key areas in Singapore such as Tiong Bahru, Queenstown, Tanah Merah, and Jurong West among others.
Bespoke Habitat optimizes space to create an authentic living for busy working professionals who are all about having a sense of community without sacrificing personal space. Using the best of space, a three-bedroom condominium apartment can now host a comfortable living space for a maximum occupancy of six tenants.
“The boom in the short-term rental space during the pandemic made co-living a very ideal way to live. A section of working professionals who have adopted a hybrid work approach will prefer to stay in co-living spaces rather than apartments or hotels to connect with like-minded people. Bespoke Habitat was launched with this vision in mind to provide a high-quality and fully functional space for people to live, work and play in the most accessible and convenient locations in Singapore,” said Ernee Ong, Co-Founder of Bespoke Habitat.
“Our aim is to use technology to create living spaces that support the lifestyle of the young and single-demographic household from Singaporeans to expatriates, further enabling a high level of comfort and convenience,” he added.
Amenities at Bespoke Habitat properties will focus on the needs of working professionals and students and will be all-inclusive providing data services, cleaning, working space, and communal living space. The company places priority on convenience and community and provides membership services through its all-in-one app for tenants allowing them easy access to cleaning and maintenance services. The app also allows users to ‘raise a ticket’ to highlight issues that need to be resolved.
Bespoke Habitat claims to be a full end-to-end solutions provider by extending its services to a suite of co-living operators, a first of its kind in the Singapore market. By allowing specialized services from logistics, to cleaning, moving out services, and in-house handyman without the need to outsource, Bespoke Habitat aims to scale its solutions and focus on bringing unique elements that will appeal to the convenience of today’s working professionals.
The funding will enable Bespoke Habitat to expand its network to 350 units in Singapore, launch new services, and refine the staying experience.
