Strike, a leading Bitcoin financial services company, recently announced that it has been granted a BitLicense and Money Transmitter License by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). The approvals authorize Strike to offer its suite of Bitcoin products and services to individuals and businesses across the state of New York.

New York is widely regarded as the financial capital of the world. The state’s regulatory framework requires the highest standards of security, operational transparency, and consumer protection. Strike’s licensure confirms that the company is one of the few Bitcoin companies that meet the strict requirements set by one of the preeminent cryptocurrency regulators in the country.

“Receiving our BitLicense is a defining milestone for Strike,” said Jack Mallers, Founder and CEO of Strike. “Strike is building the leading Bitcoin financial institution. With our BitLicense, we can now bring that mission to New York, the global center of finance. We operate at the highest standards, delivering brokerage, savings, and payments on open monetary infrastructure built for the long term. We look forward to serving New Yorkers with secure, open, and Bitcoin-native financial services.”
